Ingredients:
2 Bananas
1 cup mango pieces+berries(strawberry, blueberry,blackberry, raspberry)
1/2 cup granola/other crunchy cereal/muesli(I used ancient grains granola)
1-2 tablespoons dry fruit/nut mix
2 tablespoons each chopped strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, I have used nectarines and apples as well etc
Procedure:
1.Grind the banana with the mango and berries in a blender.
2.Transfer the contents to 2 bowls and top it off with dry fruit, chopped fruit and granola and enjoy!
Tips:
Keep the banana as the base as it adds the sweetness required for this, you can switch out the mango with berries, pineapple, kiwi, cantaloupe, apples, grapes, oranges, peaches, nectarines etc
You can also add desiccated coconut, pine nuts etc as your toppings
You can add honey on top for additional sweetness.
Do not add watery fruits as your blended mixture will turn very runny and wont be in the consistency to eat, keep the blended mixture thick.
Fruits oxidize after you cut them so consume immediately after preparing
I follow the concepts of ayurveda where they advice to avoid mixing fruit with milk products and hence I haven’t used yogurt or milk in blending the fruits, also it takes more sugar when you add yogurt, if you ant you can add yogurt and sugar into the mix.
