Hot Chocolate Cookies

Now that the holidays are over and we are all left with plenty of hot chocolate mix that we got as gifts and will never be able to drink it all,what do we do?We make cookies.This is a great treat for hot chocolate lovers,chocolate lovers and those who like lesser sweet in their desserts.

Preparation time:45 minutes
Serves:24-36 cookies


Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup hot chocolate mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1 teaspoon corn syrup
1 cup chocolate chips + m&m s

Procedure:
1.Preheat oven to 350 F. Take butter and sugars in a bowl and beat until well combined(for about 2-3 minutes)

2.In a different bowl sift flour,salt,baking soda and hot chocolate powder and keep aside.
3.Add the eggs,vanilla and corn syrup mix just until combined.
4.Add the flour mixture and mix just until combined.The dough should be firm to be able to be rolled into balls,else add half cup of flour.Fold in the chocolate chips and M and Ms

5.Shape into roundles and roll in sugar and Refrigerate for 1 hour. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.

Tips:
Do not knead or overmix the dough.
