Kandi Podi-Toor Dal Powder

This powder can be used to sprinkle on salads or vegetable stir fry dishes or can be had with ghee and Dosa(crepe) and Idli items.
Preparation time:20 minutes
Serves:multiple

Ingredients:
22 red chilies
1 cup toor dal
2 tablespoons cumin seeds
4 cloves garlic
1 cup of bhuna chana(putnalu)
Procedure:
1.Dry roast the chilies,toor dal and cumin seeds on a low flame until the toor dal turns lightly brown.
2.Add the Bhuna chana(dhalia) and add garlic and roast until all ingredients are roasted.(if you crush them in hands the chili should crack into pieces).Switch off the flame and let cool.
3.Grind the ingredients to a fine powder add salt and serve.
Tips:

This can be served with rice or added in any curries like capsicum, eggplant etc.
You can also add coconut /curry leaves while roasting for added flavor.
