Ingredients:
1 cup mixed nuts(I used cashews, pistachios, macadamia nuts, almonds, walnuts)
1 cup pitted mejdool dates
small pinch of salt
1 tablespoon ghee
Procedure:
1.Heat a pan and toast all the nuts stirring occasionally to make sure they don’t burn for about 15 minutes.Turn off and let cool completely.
2.Take the nuts, salt and dates in a food processor and pulse them until they reach a coarse crumb texture.
3.Take handfuls of the mixture and roll into balls by applying ghee on your palm so it doesn’t stick to your hands and rolls easily.Store in airtight container and enjoy whenever you like to.
Tips:
You can also roll the finished laddoos in rajgira(amaranth) or desiccated coconut for additional texture.
You can also add raisins etc to the mixture.
