Simple Syrup

Simple syrup is a combination of equal quantities of sugar and water often used to make desserts, ice cream, meringues etc in Pastry Kitchens.

Preparation time 10 minutes 
Serves 2 cups
Serving Size 1/4 cup
Calories Per Serving Approximately 193 per serving
Difficulty Easy

Ingredients:
2 cup sugar
2 cup water

Procedure:
Take sugar and water in a saucepan and bring it to a full boil.Turn of the stove, give it a stir and let the sugar dissolve.

Tips:
Flavoring agents can be added to the syrup before using for Pastry.
