Masala Dosa Curry

This is the potato stuffing that is placed inside the famous Masala Dosa prepared in South India.
Preparation time:30 minutes
Serves:4


Ingredients:
2 large Potato(boiled until soft-2 whistles in pressure cooker) and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
2 teaspoons oil
6 green chilis minced
1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon chana dal
1 teaspoon urad dal
2 pinches turmeric
1 spring curry leaves
salt to taste
1/2 medium onion cut lengthwise

Procedure:
1.Heat oil in a pan and add chana dal and urad dal and let brown lightly,then add mustard and cumin and curry leaves and let splutter.

2.Now add the onion, turmeric,salt and green chili and saute for 2 minutes.

3.Add the ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 minute.

4.Add the boiled potato cubes and mix well,add 1 tablespoon of water and let cook for about 10 minutes.

Tips:
This can be serves as a stuffing for dosa,pesarattu etc.
